You can certainly enjoy having these nuts in your snack directly from the pack. But they are certainly more than just a snack. They can be used while cooking too. Once can put them as a coating on a baked dish of fish or chicken. It is a very simple dish to prepare and does not take much time. You just need to crush a lot of nuts so that the fish or chicken can be coated. It is also advisable to dip the fillets in milk so that the nuts get attached to them easily.
You may either bake the chicken or fish or have it cooked in a stove. The nuts are quite easy to bake. They are also good in adding texture to any baked dish. This is why they are used a lot in fudge and cookies.
These nuts are also used a lot in tropical green salads too. Just as slivered almonds are used in salads, these too are considered a key ingredient in green salads. They can be used as whole nuts or can be cut with knives. Their pairing with pineapple makes for a great combination. This pairing is mostly seen in Asian or Polynesian dishes. The packaged nuts are mostly roasted. There is no need to use excess amount of salt in order to make them tasty as the salt content is adjusted before they are packed. Along with being an excellent ingredient that can be used while cooking and also a great snack, these nuts can also be considered as a fantastic gift option.
